Hey all! I just started running SA recently. After man headaches I got DxWnd working for Windowed SA, but my LMB doesn't do anything and i cant rotate my camera. Any help would be appreciated
This has nothing to do with dxwnd, but is a common mouse issue with the game. https://www.speedrun.com/gtasa/thread/ar4sg has the answer for you, 'to fix mouse issues'.
after running dxwnd in admin mode, you can help it by binding some stuff in the input tab but it wont guarantee the mouse to work everytime
English_Ben the only problem is i downloaded the thing you said but my PC gave me an error that this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Oh, and Alpoodle thanks for the image, but i have those same settings and it still dosent work
hoXiu thank you for the direction, but i put the D-input file in my San Andreas user files and when i launched the game through DxWnd it my mouse still dosent work
hoXiu I don't know what to say. I put in in the Common/ Steam apps folder and it worked. Thank all of you who replied to my question
The GTA:SA community has been deteriorating over a long period of time. Many top runners are not currently present on the leaderboard. This issue has not been seriously addressed yet, but an attempt will be made to remedy it now.
