On Mission flag is different between V1 and Steam version

On V1, the On Mission Flag is always equal to 0 or 1, or would look like this https://gyazo.com/b9dc06e94462e4fccdaac9ab11bb3997 or https://gyazo.com/dd5f31b578f59faf8f57b8962f398246

But, on the steam version, the On Mission Flag is equal to 500172253 (and on the On Mission Changer, the version can't be identified) https://gyazo.com/af13f155665e8eb4095aca90bc1aa77e

On Cheat Engine, it says that the On Mission Flag is 3575500805, or would look like this: https://gyazo.com/1ea24bf464a6ca20f8006f6b3e944bd1

The on mission flag code is 0x00A49FC4 for V1, but for steam it must be different. So do any of you know what the on mission flag code is for the Steam version?

Looks like you're using the address for 1.0. The most recent Steam version has an offset for global variables of 0x77970. The Onmission variable is at gta_sa.exe+649FC4 for 1.0, so it would be at gta-sa.exe+6C1934 for the Steam version.

Note that the "gta-sa.exe" module can be in different places for the Steam version (not just 0x400000 as with the other versions), so the actual address can change. You always have to add up the in-module address and the address of the module. For CheatEngine you can just add "gta-sa.exe"+6C1934 to the list.

On remastered you can do every dupe available just the same as PS2. The only difference from PS2 and Remastered which is the same is that the game lags to about 3fps duping Amphibious Assault.

Duping works different on remastered because of the checkpoint system so it's really easy to accidentally crash the game if you don't know what you're doing. Also on a side note duping can only be done on remastered using trucking and quarry.

what I really wonder is why doesn't the steam version work with the on-mission changer though? and is it possible to make it work?

I don't know about the onmission changer, but I made a CheatEngine script that also has that functionality, as well as an output of duping-related memory values.
