In a previous run I died three times on the Kosatka prep and called Pavel to cancel the heist. This did not end the prep so i finished it. Next run I go to start the prep and it was already done. I have not tried to replicate this. If consistent, should this be allowed?

Edit: I do not think this glitch should be allowed in runs as it is a preparation done outside of the run, sort of similar to how the GTA 5 mobile app was banned in story mode runs because players could start the game with maximum upgrades to their cars by upgrading them outside of the run.

With further testing it seems consistent. How i did it: Enter merryweather submarine and die Call Pavel to cancel heist while still on surface Finish prep

When you finish the intel mission the prep will already be done

So technically we could be able to skip one mission. That was also possible with the casino scoping.

No. this is not allowed. As far as preps and all missions go, they must be completed from start to finish as glitching a mission completion counts as cheating. However, you can use warps in between transitions such as lobby jumping and whatnot as well as any other discovered hidden mechanics in missions that does not glitch the mission into completing.

As far as coop RTA goes, multi-hosting is perfectly acceptable so long as you don't glitch the mission completions themselves.

However, say we were to get the leaderboard split into a glitchless and glitched any% RTA, then this would be perfectly acceptable for a glitched run. PC players would be using the prep skip glitch that is out now and would only have to play the finale...

With these notes being said, I believe that all points were addressed and that this thread should be closed down for further discussion.

This glitch would count in newgame+ territory and runs containing the use of this glitch will get rejected.
