My new PB (minus some resets)

So, a big rule for SA is no pausing the timer for anything. One of the reasons why the first run I have is so long is because i couldn't pause and I had to deal with something after doberman. Now I PB'd a couple days ago and was in the submit run application thingy thinking to my self, I reset a lot in the video I uploaded, but I cant cut that out because the rules are, you have to show the game starting up for the first time. So if i give you a time stamp of when the run starts, will you accept that time?

Depending on which category it is, I don't think that the starting up for the first time matters so much. It's mainly used to combat stats not resetting after loading a new game, which doesn't affect all that much unless you are going for world record or for a 100% time (in which the stat upgrades can be used for an advantage).

The rule regarding initial load is basically now redundant because of Woozie skip, so don't worry about it. As long as you show you starting a new game that's fine

@English_Ben would you mind telling me why? I know the woozie skip and how to do it, but why would not showing an initial load matter?

The reason we had the rule to show the start of the game was that substats were not properly reset when you just started a new game. In order to start Amphibious Assault, you need a certain level of lung capacity. You could, theoretically, start a game, get to 0.9 of the first tick of lung capacity, then start a new game without restarting the .exe, and get the first tick of lung capacity almost immediately.

Since Amphibious Assault is no longer done due to Wooze Skip, that point is now moot.

Category Cleanup 21/08/22

Hi everyone.

The mod team has decided that it's time to clean up some problematic categories within the CE boards, specifically extremely short categories such as Low% and Hooker. The reason for this is that due to their extremely short nature and src's lack of proper tools to retime runs, it is
