Some runners do a Classic% Roman's Sorrow race without doing Brucie's first and second mission. Others do include these missions in their races. Shouldn't we agree on a formula that every Roman's Sorrow Classic% race follows? I think so.

By agreeing on a standard:
(1) Future SRL race times will be earned on the same formula (currently there are times posted for Classic% which both include and exclude Brucie's missions for a Roman's Sorrow race). This doesn't seem right to me, regardless of how much it really matters.

(2) It's clearly optimal to do Brucie's first and second mission before Roman's Sorrow, that is, if you're going for a full run.

(3) Requiring these missions allows the runner to possibly continue on with the run, if they feel they have a good time thus far. You wouldn't want to get to Roman's Sorrow with an amazing time and realize that you haven't done the mission route optimally, would you?

So what should officially be done about this? Two options:
1. On SRL, add race categories titled "Roman's Sorrow Classic% w/ Brucie" & "Roman's Sorrow Classic% w/o Brucie".

2. Only add the category "Roman's Sorrow Classic% w/ Brucie" because a category excluding Brucie's missions doesn't make sense. Keep it simple. Fewer categories equals more organization and a sense of actually having standards.

At this time, this is the only "IV" race I feel this needs to be said about.

as far as i know, romans sorrow without brucie is any% route. therefore, if you go for romans sorrow classic% it has to be with brucie.
thats the way i see it.

Not that I run the game but a race is a race. You get to your goal as fast as possible.

You didn't see people doing Cone Crazy in old Shakedown races in VC (not exactly the same I know)

It should be up to the runners but if you go for a mission that is not necessary to complete the goal you are just wasting time. Should be without by default and special mention in the title if you are going to have them.

I see the problem with going on with the run after the race but why should the other people who are not going on have to suffer.

Well, to satisfy everyone ->
1. On SRL, add race categories titled "Roman's Sorrow Classic% w/ Brucie" & "Roman's Sorrow Classic% w/o Brucie".

I now feel this is actually the best option.

A new category for without brucie is not really needed since that's already existing on srl. A new one for the run with brucie is probably the best solution for everyone.
