The 1W and PT run actually makes it a lot harder, as you have to be very good at gauging your 1W to produce the same results as, say, a 5I. And forget it if you land in a sand pit.

i would say getting good with driver and putter would be the fastest way to beat the game. i used to do that 30years ago. for category names i have no clue. 1W+PT seems more like a challenge but is infact faster if you really good. i havent played the game for 4years prolly but if people wanna talk about changing name for the cats i´m always up for discussions as long everyone agrees

Well either way, I don't mind. I found it to be clear as is, but if people are having an issue with the names as they are, said names can be changed. It won't really change much in the runs per se, which is what ultimately matters.

the name works. "One Round" also works. Either name, doesn't matter.

"1W+PT" doesn't necessarily mean you never change clubs, because you can use the putter outside of the green.

I thought the main category name was clear. Golf is normally played 18 holes at a time...

Until someone find a way to beat the game without completing the 18th hole, I see no reason to change it to "any%."

I added BadBrakes as a mod when this game started getting more runs because I knew he ran the game in the past and has a long history in the speedrun community.

I agree category names are clear and fine. I've been looking for a warp bunker to skip a few holes, but i haven't found one yet. So until that happens, I don't think we need an "any%" specification.

Hey I didn’t want to start a new thread and figured this question is related. Anyone thought about opening up a 2 player co-op category? I just submitted a 2 player run and figured it was worth a shot to see if it would open up a co-op category. It was a fun co-op run and I thought would be a cool category for players.
