Can you show me an example on how you do the lap glitch? If not it works like this: you go to the track you want to glitch, set the laps to 1, continue and wait for the car to load in and then you exit. Also if you are talking about the prologue circuit race, that one can’t be lapglitched

So I see that their runs don’t have game footage but instead just shows the best time and that’s it. Shouldn’t a run like be verified with video footage ? Photos can for example be edited or some “hacks” could have been used which would be going unnoticed. You can even just download a save file on the internet with those times. Just to be clear nothing against Alessio it just feels weird.

The reason a mod got demoted was because of the inactivity of the game. We are not looking for any new mods at the moment. Also we have 21 days to verify runs, you’ll have to be patient.

No that filter only works for runs that get verified. Like when a run gets verified you get a notification. If you mod a game you get a notification every time a new run gets submitted it doesn’t matter what place it is.

Normally the mods have 21 days to verify a run. However given that this game is very popular it must have a bunch of submissions so given then time is the best solution

These threads should really stop. It’s just pathetic how they are being abused in the community. It really makes people not want to run it or get involved in the community, me included. I hope mods will punish those type of people. In case the person who made this thread deletes their post so it doesn’t appear first anymore I took a screenshot to provide as proof for the mods.

It’s possible that the video evidence has vanished either because it was a twitch stream which got deleted or an unlisted video on YouTube which due to a change any video prior to x that was unlisted got moved to private so therefore the video proof is not longer available. Also weirdly enough if it got deleted I can’t see it in rejected runs. When did you submit your run?

I just don't get why the mods here get so annoyed at people making suggestions to help fix speedrunning this game: why act like you made more then just 1
In my mind if you mod a forum and nobody is running it, you should wonder to yourself why that is: because it's an old unknown game, only reason it got added is because I took the time to play and research it indepth so we could have all nfs games up on the site.
If you feel like being a mod for this game is a waste of your time, then step down: never have we ever complained about moderating or verifying to many games, also keep in mind that we are volounteers and have lifes outside of this site aswell.
first of all, there have been other people that have submitted runs: yeah you and another guy who didn't follow the rules, all the rest where people submitting runs just so that you would stop complaining about the rules making it almost impossible to get a verified run lmao.
Anways, it was also on a mobile emulator yet was somehow accepted to the leaderboard: must have been a mistake or gone unnoticed since those are globally banned on our boards and I believe even mentioned in the rules maybe.
There are 3 forum posts made by new people coming to run this game, all saying MelonDS doesn't run the game propery. This is clearly a real issue. So adress the issue with something that doesn't push away new runners: I'm sorry that we don't have all the time in the world to deal with every problem as soon as it gets addressed lmao (no I'm not complaining.)
