Done in version 1.53 It’s RTA viable and could probably be done again. I’ve gotten the glitch several times, but only one of them made it to the end.

Don't know who said there aren't any glitches changing the outcome of the run, we've known about warp glitches like that for ages. The barrel glitch referred to in the rules works similarly and was discovered almost a year ago.

There's a GIO Category Extensions board with an "Any%" category.

So Any% is considered "category extension" these days?

To be honest, winning a game with just one glitch is just lame. For sure you have to acquire a certain amount of skill to perform it smoothly, but there isn't more than that.
