Wrong warp discovery?

Ok so I just found this today and I don’t really know how it works so I’m just gonna explain

Click play to view the beginning cutscene. Now right click and then uncheck the loop option and click the play option. Notice how ruff is not speaking during this time. Now right click and click the play option again. It shows you to get to dump-it’s nose?

And also you can move your character without leaving this screen. After clicking play on the screen, it will show you getting to Nelson’s mouth, but the mucus particles copied themselves on to the Nelson GE. The game plays out normally from here, but I don’t really know too much about it right now, so I’ll update this if I find new things.

EDIT: The get to x response varies I don’t know why

When I click play the second time, I hear the sounds of it, but don't get the gameplay. It didn't quite work for me. Do you think this can skip levels?

I think it’s if you click the play option (by right clicking) during the cutscene where ruff explains the game, you can play before the level is actually loaded in.

I think it’s just a memory error in the code. When it’s trying to play a cutscene it doesn’t know what to do when your forcing the level to play, so it freaks out cause it doesn’t know what point you are in the game so it doesn’t load the first level (Sometimes).

It may save time in runs, but it’s probably useless now until we figure out what’s going on here.

That is interesting, I got it to work now. I tried it on I think Nelson's Lungs, and it despawned all of the cells and T-cells, but it didn't advance to the next round. I could move around with the background in the area the cells were, but there was no way to progress and no cells to break.

I returned back to Any% and tried it out. Despawning Nelson's spit could save 1-2 seconds overall. So it's not much, but it's something. You have to be fast with the clicks at the beginning, and use time setting it up at the start, but since you barely need to move on Nelson Mouth now it saves some time.

I found you don't have to click on Loop. The despawn can happen with one right click.

  1. Click Play on the starting screen
  2. Click to skip the cutscene with Ruff
  3. Right click then click Play on the "Germinator - This time, it's infectious!" screen. The arrow keys and "Get to Trumpet's EYE!" will appear.
  4. Click Continue
  5. Click Play
  6. Nelson's spit will be despawned now

If you don't click continue, you can start playing but the screen will be covered up by the cutscene. You can finish the round though, and clicking continue then play will bring you to Nelson Bloodstream. If only timing started when you clicked the last play button!

Despawning the spit probably wouldn’t save a whole lot of time. If it was possible to despawn in the other GE’s, it could save maybe 3-4 minutes in regular runs (probably less than that). I think this will only save time in the GE’s because bloodstream is mostly normal, and on lungs it doesn’t do anything really.

Really, why 3-4 minutes? The GE's in total take up 5 minutes. You still have to move to the end, right? It just saves a few seconds since the obstacles are gone all you need to dodge now is the soap.
