Paused timer at around 56:42 to mitigate chapter 9 crash. Audio is somewhat fixed but still a bit out of sync. Alt video with original audio (in case YT failed): As you can see, several goons live attacks that normally one-shot. Bosses are also far less forgiving if you mess them up. Something worth noting is that the pace up to chapter 3 is actually better than what I have on Easy, and that's mostly because of how much better charge lights have turned out to be. That can be the push to sub-1:33 in that category. Chapter 4 spends about several seconds grabbing the B1 locker key for the 3 shot Antique Pistol. As one shot is not enough for the chapter 13 guy, I find grabbing this a whole lot better. I only lost time in chapter 13 since I accidentally broke a full Crowbar in chapter 8. Speaking of chapter 8, I find Liu Chinese Saber perfect for certain fights like chapter 10 goons, chapter 11 Shogi Guy, and chapter 12 Esaki. Chapter 13 MIB also went down with only 2 stabs, which is a nice upgrade from 3 with Nameless/Saw. Chapter 6 can still 3-shot 16-bit with the cone, but it is very luck-based. Small Nashino always needs an extra hit, so depending on your Big Nashino luck, Muscle Soda might run out a lot easier. There is a serious risk of losing the run in several key points; thus, I grabbed the extra 50k from Kanematsu and bought 10 Toughness ZZ's, 10 Staminan XX's, and 2 Staminan Royales. The Royales are essentially full heals for late game. Sacrifice Stone is also grabbed. Health is also upgraded to 180, Defense to 144 (both of these are done because otherwise you get one-shot everywhere), and Heat to 102 to rectify heat loss from FTH to deal with Ryuji 2 and 3. Note that this is just barely enough money for the run. With a couple menu optimizations, grabbing that crowbar, and having a better Kunieda, I think we can easily bring it to sub-1:36.
