I'm going to bring this back up simply because I have a question regarding a concept I would like to call "emulatorception"
I have an acceptable emulator, but I run the emulator core on ANOTHER emulator (the emulator in question is Mupen64plus)
Is this allowed or not? The emulator that runs the emulator is Retroarch
Good ending: Kill the cyclops Bad ending: Cyclops smush you
A 100% run assumes that all possible outcomes can be fulfilled in one run. There are 578 slides that make up this game, and making certain choices outside of the pyramid (taking the bar first or the stone first) and in room 2 (taking the double weight or the key first) automatically restrict the amount of slides you can visit.
Oh. Sorry. should have asked you about gender beforehand. hehe.
Yeah. You should be able to get a low time. I have an 18 minute on PC.
It might be harder for you to perform some exploits because of Wii playing quicker
Thank you for adding the route! I'll see if I can find a quicker way of accomplishing any% though (perhaps I'll make a copy of what you made and change the order a little bit). Until then, have fun! :D
This thread has been replaced with Category Requests
As for becoming a mod, I am all for having another moderator. I am in school still and I need someone to be available when I am not.
For any% and 100%, that is correct. Time without Loads is irrelevant. But for the newer category (All Beneficiaries), it is. And I can't really keep those settings to one particular category.
You start the timer the moment you hit New Game (unless you have to override a save, then it is the moment you hit Yes)
If you don't have access to a stopwatch for livesplit, I will retime your game and add the time with loads to the thousandth of a millisecond. I cannot say the same for time without loads
There we go! Just resubmit one more time and everything should be fine. Sorry about the confusion.
I tried making subcategories, but some of the details looked fuzzy. I'll try again right now! :D
The fuzziness of the Real Time timer is why I base the rankings on the In Game Timer.
The moment you start a new game is when the timer begins.
Reason: On PC, you can use the Space Bar to skip over dialogue. DS is unknown to me.
The main reason you still had a faster time than my run (which isn't posted yet) is because of framerate. This game came out on PC in 2006 and was only 15 FPS. When it came out on Wii and DS in 2008 and 2009 respectively, it got amped up to 30 FPS. Increase in framerate causes quicker completion.
Leave suggestions here. I'll find time to read them! Just make sure I haven't already listed them as categories on the leaderboards.
Level Categories will be set tomorrow
Yes. All the categories will be set today
We have a resources section for each game. We also have a Faustas who has compiled MOST versions. I recommend he puts those SWF files in resources under "Patches"
