Keep in mind I do not have a run submitted either so I am not saying they have to listen to me. However you can't expect the mods to want to listen to your opinion just because you have one.

If every decision was based on something a random person said in a forum or comment section, then I would have also been VAC banned from Doom 2016 for beating the game in a non linear fashion.

Messed with it for a few hours and wasn't able to come up with anything. I tried asking a few people on that video and seems most have only had it happen on emu so most likely just the emulator being buggy.

I was never able to find a program that could unpack the files sadly. All I was ever able to get was multiplayer console cheats and sound files.

Nothing that I know of that is engine based. Just it being a piece of shit OpieOP

Still not sure on what causes the softlock but the screech usually prevents it from happening. I think I was usually the one to get it previously.

I believe someone might have mentioned it earlier in the thread but this would pretty much solve the argument imo (at least for amiibo, I will leave console arguments for another time)

This keeps the actual category tabs to a minimum so two are not being used for Any% and people can list out what they want to see.

Just to add this was done on the Doom leaderboard for glitchless. Good for keeping things clean and everyone is happy.

EDIT: This being said I really don't care and am going to do what is fastest. This was merely me bringing up something that might make both sides. If Amiibo's are allowed currently then I am going to do that if I want to be competitive.

Are you playing it after closing the door? After closing the door and leaving that before it loads you can walk to where the circus of value is and then play it. That should last you til the elevator area.

I personally think it would be nice if the leaderboards were sorted into more variables. Having it per character just makes it extremely cluttered.

You could have character type as a variable to the run and difficulty as a variable to the run.

If you didn't want to do that you could make the categories based off of difficulty and just a character variable.

Play the game through. Practice it. Play it through a bit faster. Practice it. Play it through a bit faster.

While I am being slightly sarcastic this is completely true. You don't ¤need¤ glitches or timers or anything to speedrun. Most first speedruns of a game are just playthroughs done at a rushed pace. You will naturally find yourself improving the route as you try to make it faster.

Keep in mind you can still use it to learn and practice :). That is what I am doing.
