In response to all of this, I am fine with it. I think we've all come up with good ideas and will continue to grow as a community. I believe that any% has no real place in this game, so changing it to all these categories will work very well. And getting rid of the leaderboards will be something that I feel on the fence about. I will work on this immediately.

All we need to do is avoid flunking. Passing the tests are the key to this. Timing starts when a new game is selected. I.E. "When 'New Game' is selected, or when 'Start' is pressed to erase current game" The timing will end when the game tells you the year has ended.

As for the checklist, I agree completely. But, in order to keep this from being a 25+ hour run, I would consider this a possibility. Yet, if enough people agree, we can ban sleeping everyday as an option. We don't really need to "Accomplish" anything in the school year. All we really need to do get to the end of the year. We need more user input with what exactly we need to do. Such as, beat certain duelists a certain number of times. Maybe even getting a certain percentage on each test.

Most of the problems that I see arising with any% is that there isn't enough user input on what exactly there is to accomplish. I currently know no one who has ever "Beaten" the game. So it is hard to answer all these questions. But while I answer these questions, I am finding out for myself. So hopefully, these questions can be answered more accurately. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but how about we have a discussion here on what we could do. -Charleswayne101

All duelists starts with a new game. The reason Shepard is not included is because he is an extra duelist. You get nothing but a name change when you win. Mimicry is just there as a duelist for the test. Pharaoh is an extra event for winning against Jaden and Syrus a certain amount of times each. Really, any "Extra" duelist that you can only duel from events are excluded. This would include Titan, Shepard, Mimicry, and Pharaoh. I'm still trying to find out if Zane is included in this. So, for now, he will be required unless I find out that he is an "event Duelist". I am sorry for the confusion -Charleswayne101

Look, any% right now will be finishing the year. I will add it to the leaderboards. All Duelists will be it's own seperate category, but Chancellor Shepard will be left out because he is an extra duelist. NG+ IS a thing in this game, so that will be another seperate category. If we can all agree on that, it will be added to the leaderboards immediately. Thank you all for your input and coming to a conclusion <3 Thank you

Any% Will most likely be beat certain events and/or duelists. Such as defeat Dimitri during his special event, Alexis during her special event, ect. The problem with this is that certain events require certain duelists to be defeated a certain number of times before a deadline, and some just require a certain ranking. Not only that, but "King Of Games%" would already consist of beating every duelist. So having a separate "Beat All Duelists%" would be inconsistent. The only real difference would be 1 duelist. Things are still being sorted out, and we hope to have everything better sorted and better made in the future. Thank you all for your suggestions, and I hope we can incorporate as many ideas as we can <3 Thank you.

Currently, we do not know about any possible low%. The game itself states that the whole point of the game is to be your best, and become King Of Games. It's hard to put a pinpoint on what exactly we could DO for low%, or any% for that matter. As of right now, the only real possibility for a full run of this game will be 100%. I am still working on coordinating an agreement upon any%. I will try to have one up soon. <3 Thank you for your patience.

Strawberry, I am working on these things, the people I talk to either are still setting things up, are too busy, or have not been contacted about Speedrun.com. I AM working on a discord server that we can all get on and talk about these things. That way, anyone can hop on and talk about it without having to go through a lot of trouble. I appreciate your concern, and I will hopefully be able to get this issue sorted out quickly. Until Next time, Get your Game on. -Charleswayne101

Gcah, you see, to officially beat "All Duelists", you have to have gotten king of games. This way, we can duel Chancellor Shepard. Not only that, but you have to duel every other duelist at least 10 times in order to duel Sheppard. Of course, we can put him in as an "Extra" duelist.

About the people who I'm talking to, i believe 2 of them have accounts, but I don't know what they are. I am still looking for their accounts. Thank you for your input, and we will work on getting these things in <3

Gcah2006, currently, we have no plans on any%. Mainly because any% is commonly refereed to as beating the game as fast as possible. But, in gxda, beating the game would be either becoming king of games, or ending the year. This would result in someone mashing a few buttons to beat the game. We don't think this would be very fun.

In response to prince of games, you need to have 100% card completion to become king of games, and I, specifically, feel like we might as well do 100% after that. But, we could make a separate category for it. Really, it only comes down to what could we do for any%? We could possibly split it into several categories, but any% as a whole won't be a thing until we can figure out how we could consider "Beating the Game".

Finally, we are still working on all the rules. I am thinking that maybe we could set certain rules on certain decks, or even certain cards. I do know that (if any% becomes a thing) that passwords will only be used in 100%. Also, I am writing a 100% route with interest in running it, and a few people whom I talk to interested in running it. Thank you for your input, and I hope you have a good time dueling.

Until next time, Get your game on. -Charleswayne101

Me and the people I'm currently talking to about this game. A few of them want to run it, and some of them just like to talk about it. We're working on things for the site, and hopefully will make things better for future runners, and current runners alike.

Blackwin5, I am still currently looking into things. I, right now, want to find people who I personally know will look into these matters. This is a very different game from others on this series, and I am still working on rules, emulator rules, and many other things. It is not clearly stated why VBA-M is banned on SRL, but I do know that it was banned for a reason. I am still looking into it, as I have said in my information post, any false information we may find will be deleted.

Thank you to StrawberryWhiteblock for these helpful links <3

In regards to why VBA-M is banned, it is mainly because it is not fully accessible to other users. This wouldn't be a problem, except that VBA-M runs slightly better than VBA. It is unfair for us to allow someone a better time on the leader boards just because they used an emu that makes the game run faster. Again, thank you for understanding. -Charleswayne101

We are allowing Emulator Runs on this game. BUT, there are specific things that should be said. Rules about emu on Speedrunslive.com apply here as well. VBA 1.7.2 is the most commenly used emu for running. But, using VBA-M is banned. If we find any proof that your run was done using VBA-M, your run will not be accepted and you will be notified why.

With that noted, any other emu "Unless otherwise noted" are ok to use.

¤Other Misc. Rules¤ This still goes for emulators. DON'T USE SAVESTATES! DON'T USE TURBO! DON'T SPEED UP THE GAME!

All of these are ways to make the timing inaccurate. Save states are cheating. They allow you to restore any point in the game with the push of a button. We DO allow you to reset the game manually (soft reset) and reload.

Turbo is making the program push a button every other frame/every frame. In laymen terms, it pushes the button really fast. This is not fair to players that don't use turbo, or can't use turbo.

Speeding up the game is obvious. It makes the timer inaccurate. You speed up the game, but the timer will still be going the same. This is cheating.

Any refusal to adhere to these rules will result in your run not being accepted. Again, you will be notified. Thank you. -Charleswayne101

Update: Currently, resetting on Emu is banned. Because it doesn't have the intro that a GBA or GBA player does.
