I am a little confused on why there are two versions in each level one for current version and one for old version how do I know if I am using old version or current version?
And if I want to submit a run right now do I submit one under old version or current version?
Hi GDub, if you want to submit a run do it on the current version due to is the version you may be playing in.
There are 2 leaderboards because in the last update there was an error were you started moving much before as inteended so times are much lower. Now this glitch is patched so you cant do it.

I think it will get fixed soon. Not that long ago, due to adding another World to the game, there were two subcategories meant for full game runs (for the older version and for the current one) and they were added to Individual Level runs as well, but I'm not sure if that was the only reason.
Now, when we have separate Full Game and Full Game Legacy (this one as Misc. category), distinction like the one you mentioned is not needed in ILs in my opinion.
Edit: @XP3, ahh, good to know! I didn't know that there has been an issue like that for some time after Far North update (let's call it like that, lol) was released. Good to hear it has been already patched.
if you have Far North you submit under current version, if you don't it's the old one @GDub202
the difference is that the legacy version does not have far north and the current version does
