Best Wangan Cars: '06 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the fastest car on most tracks on the wangan. It has the 2nd highest topspeed and has among the most responsive handling in the game. Transmission level 1 on Z06 & LF-A has basically the same amount of topspeed but better acceleration than level 3 and 5. Lexus LF-A Concept has the highest topspeed in the game and thus is faster on some tracks on the aqualine but its handling holds it back on most other tracks.

Best Touge Cars: Ford Mustang GT-R has arguably the most responsive handling in the game. It makes a lot of power when fully upgraded and has rather low top speed but great acceleration, which is favorable on the touge. Level 2 or 4 transmission are usually the fastest, depending on the track. It is also viable for drift events even when fully upgraded but there might be other cars that fit your personal style better.

Weight stat: Weight stat can be seen as measurement for how much impact nitrous has on your car. E.g. '06 Dodge Charger SRT8 (highest weight stat in the game) does not gain much power while Toyota MR-S (lowest weight stat) gain an insane amount of power when using nitrous.

Snaking: It is possible to gain more topspeed on some cars when alternately steering to the left and right. E.g. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Lexus LF-A Concept can reach over 300mph when using this trick.
