Simply put, this run was weird. I skipped picking up the potion in Crypt 1 so I could conserve the bomb, instead picking up the one in Crypt 6. I didn't have wings after Crypt 4, so I coughed up a ton of time there. After Crypt 5, I went on a tear, saving bunches of time along the way, only to give almost all of it back at the very end due to a horrendous Dirth fight. The big takeaway from all of this is that sub-1:14 is absolutely possible; in fact, my sum of bests is now 1:12:3x, so perhaps the grind will get me to that territory.
