Pushed it as far as I want to go. I'm glad I caught this run. 3:46 achieved!

(Mod note to other mods: Timing rules for this game are vaguely written, when timed by first frame of blackness I get a time of 3:46.733. Blackness is defined as "The property or quality of being black in color" which has different implications, to which I interpret as the first frame to be predominantly black, not the first all black frame. Hopefully the rules can be reworded to be more explicit or someone can clear this up, otherwise I will be timing by my interpretation of the rules going forward.)
