Moderators have 1-3 weeks to verify runs. Also, your run seems to be in a very popular speedrunning game.

Yeah, 6 days might feel like a long time but a really popular game like Speed Run 4 probably gets a lot of submissions, so it's not surprising that it takes a while for them to get to you. It's important to remember that mods have up to 3 weeks to verify submissions, and if they do take that long that's when you have cause for concern.

Somewhat related...? I've been waiting on a run to be verified for what's getting close to 2 weeks, the run being just under two hours in a game that has few runs (wouldn't be surprised if mine was the only one pending). I'm almost tempted to offer to help verify future runs, since the current world record for that game also had a ~2 week waiting time but I don't know if they'd want me to so I'm a bit nervous to ask ^^; (I suppose it's also worth mentioning that they've made it very clear they don't like the game, so maybe, as a person who does like it, I should get around to bringing it up...)

For this, and life in general, I would say "Just ask".

It sounds easier than it can feel to do, but I like to think of it this way:

At the moment, you are not a moderator of the game.

If you ask and they say no, you are still not a moderator of the game and nothing has changed.

If you ask and they say yes, you are now a moderator of the game. Hooray!

Literally the worst that can happen is you are back where you are now and nothing has changed. So just ask. Right now, don't wait :)
