Old Candy and RAT (Short)

The two oldest animatronics to date in the original Five Nights at Candy's have a unique A.I. when they arrive at your doors. They do not have eyes, meaning you cannot see them clearly at the doors. You can use your Maintenance Panel to keep track and see if they are there, but for the later nights, you will need to use more senses.

When either of the two arrive at a door, listen closely and you will hear a faint humming sound coming from either side. It may be difficult to distinguish it from the ambience at first, so try to listen for it by watching them arrive in the Maintenance Panel and listening in when they do. You'll be able to easily hear it after a few attempts.

There is another strategy applying for people with good eyesight. When either of the two arrive at a door, if one looks EXTREMELY closely, they will be able to see a faint blue color in the door, signaling they are just outside. The humming audio cue plays too, so if you cannot see the blue, just listen in.

Like all the other animatronics, in Nights 3-6 they will take about 6 seconds to leave. On higher levels, it's usually 4-5.

This will come in handy on the later nights so you can catch them in time, especially in the 7/20 mode. I once completed it first try, all with counting numbers and listening.
