I've been trying for 5 times now to attempt a Williams% run, but my frame rate (when recording with OBS) is no more than 30 FPS, but when I turn OFF the recording, it jumps to 60 FPS again. does anyone have a fix for this? I'd like to know, as I really want to attempt Wlliams%, be it today or tomorrow

What cpu do you have? Recording with OBS is pretty demanding on your cpu, especially depending on your settings.

I use a Intel Core i5 8th gen, and I don’t own a PS4. The thing that bothers me is that my previous 3 runs of this game were recorded no problem at 60 FPS (25% austria and 50% austria and brazil) using OBS. Anyone recommend either a solution or a different recording program?

Did you accidentally change the recording fps to 30 under video settings? Strange that it would suddenly stop recording at 60 fps especially with a newer i5 (which should have no problem recording this game)

no, it was set at 60 FPS in the OBS settings menu

In that case, I would suggest taking note of your settings and uninstalling and reinstalling OBS. You could also download another recording software if you want, but I have no recommendations as OBS is all I've used.
