Im trying to learn this game the fast way - I had a look at a current video, and the guy just runs to the end without pete, and pete never gets mad and grabs him. I cant get this to work though. Am I just too slow? or is there some sort of trick to it?

Hi, yes, this is a Pete despawn trick. In short:

1. Buffer right+whip from the loading screen.

2. After whipping Pete, you have a 2-frame window to make a full hop. Check the video to understand when you need to do it.

3. If everything is done correctly, you'll be able to run through the second tentacle without getting hit (assuming you've never stopped running). You can also go back and check if there's no Pete there.

It may be difficult to do it now but it's possible to get used to it eventually.

For the last months, It's been a bit quiet there as well lol (not as here though) but at least you can find old discussions or ask your questions
