I just finished recording my Caliphate speedrun as the Mamluks. I have all the raw footage, although it's cut into pieces that I can stitch into one continuous video if needed. The save is also ironman and I can provide it if the mods want. I'm just new to the whole submission thing so I'm not sure what to do here.

They arn't technically a tag. Just as cosmetic change. Its an idea, but becomes a question of where does the line get drawn for "take decision X" type speedruns, if they arn't actually for forming tags. I personally think that opening the gates to all "take decision X" type speedruns would be a poor idea. Imagine them all... "Declare restrain of appeals", "Adopt the title of Khalifa", .... so very many of them.

well, I personally think, that the caliphate is pretty much as close to a formable as you can get and would personally allow it, but we are having a discussion on it rn. For the next time, you have a run, that isnt in the leaderboards already, just submit the run into the "new category suggestions" category. Put the goal in the description and then just put in the time and run. for rta(real time runs) you have to play in 1 sitting tho. for ingame speedruns, use the side in the rules to determine your time. Multiple sessions are allowed for ingame time, keep in mind, that you can only savescum once and then once more every 10 years you spend ingame.

ok, the category for the related achievement (Dar al-Islam) was just created. feel free to just submit your run there, multiple videos/VODs are fine for igt. If you are using twitch VODs, make sure to highlight all of the VODs, so they dont get deleted after 2 weeks. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
