UPDATES:
1) At dreamhack I was talking to Edenal and since we are renting the sport hall in växjö we are going to use one of the football fields that is right outside the venue for this event. This makes everything a lot easier for both us and the bumperball staff. It will be right next to us where we already are so no walking distance and will make the whole thing run a lot more smoother.

I'm also going to keep the signups open even during the event now for any last signups but at a maximum slots. In other words I'm going to order 40 balls so if you still want to join when we're at ESA just poke me and ask for a signup and I put your name on the list for the event.

So, what time and date have I/we decided on?
We are holding the event on Wednesday at 18.30 since no walking distance this will be a great time for anyone to join in.

Because of this the price is a lot lower then what we started as.

For 40 people we will pay 265 SEK each for this event.

As some might remember I created #TEAMBOWLING2015 which was an event that developed from a previous bowling event from 2014 where we went bowling together during ESA. 2015 was a success with over 50-60 people from ESA signing up for this side event during ESA and this years ESA I'm going to make something even bigger and better.

But for this I need to first make an interest check before I continue further with the plans.

The plans:
This year I found this crazy company that cater to bigger events like ours for example.
It's basically a different way of playing football. You are in a big plastic bubble and try to score goals against the other team.

My thought was IF we get enough people signing up for this to create a good A vs B team and then fight in a true ESA spirit.

Bumperballs:

Minimum price for the bumperball event will be 350 sek for 15-20 people
depending on how many people that shows interest for this and such.
We are now over 30 people signed to this event and I'm aiming for 40 people.
Because of this the price is a lot lower then what we started as.

For 40 people we will pay 265 SEK each for this event.
Payment will be done to the people holding the event when we are there.
Bring either cash or use swish.

Q&A from the bumperball staff:
- Can anyone play bumperballs regardless of weight or will the balls not fit otherwise?
- Our balls fit for every size so even the "heavier" kind can join in and play.
- Do we have to pre-pay for the event or can you pay during/after the event?
- You can pay before, at the spot and afterwards. At the event we prefere if you pay with cash or swish.
- Will the minutes include setup/instructions and playtime that we pay for?
- The minutes include only the playtime. We will setup everything for you in time and instruct you before everything starts. 60 minutes are prefered if you are 10-20 people 90 minutes is preferd if you are more then 20.

WHEN is it going to happen during ESA?
It's going to be held on Wednesday at 18.30 outside our venue on one of the football fields right next to us. Which makes everything easy without a long walking distance etc.

I would love to participate! Last Year #TEAMBOWLING2015 was one of my personal highlights and i would love to do some kind of side event like this.

Matse im glad to hear this, this years side event is going to blow teambowling out of the water if we get enough people interested.

Does this mean if people are interested in doing this then there won't be any bowling? This isn't really something I would do and I doubt I could due to my weight and not being fit enough.

kitty this is a interest check we can probably also do team bowling but since this requires me to actually pre book this for the event i need to make an interest check for this before ESA starts.

and even if you cant "fit" in the ball I'm pretty sure you will have a laugh from watching everyone else running around playing the game 🙂

Remember people!
This is an "event" during ESA that is NOT avalable to sign up for DURING ESA.
So if you want to join in you have to sign up before ESA starts.

So keep that in mind.. I will need to know how many that want this before the beginning of July
and most likley a payment in sek to my paypal account at the beginning of July.
Payment will only be nessesary if we reach 15-20 people at least that sign up for this.
If anything less then 15 we will have to scrap the idea.

So just nudge anyone you think would find this as a fun thing to experience and tell them to sign up here.
This is after all a once in a life time oppertunity to experince during ESA.

WHEN is it going to happen during ESA?
I will try to cross check with people signed up and the schedule for ESA itself and get two timetables that you can pick between. Hence why we need to get this ready in time so i can check it together with peoples play schedule. The one you decide will be the one we go from.
