I was wondering if there would be interest in creating a ruleset for a FR NG+ category, as I personally am interested in running something like it. While there are already rules for the DS version for NG+, from my understanding you could not do a NG+ following the current Any% route, and so you'd have to do a completely separate playthrough. I was wondering if a NG+ ruleset could have no restrictions on it at all, and be a way to show off how fast the game could go when everything is used optimally. This is open for discussion of course but I think that everything should be allowed in NG+, except for foods that boost attack outside what would happen in a normal run. All equipment, even NG+ only equipment, any pins, anything, would be used to make the game as fast as possible. I think the route could be really fun given that it would be about optimizing battles given a large repertoire of choices, and seeing how fast the game could get when you really optimize. Let me know your thoughts on this if you have any!

I am new to the game overall as you can tell from my not so great times in FR any%, but messing around in NG+ I think I managed to find something that might make brand missions consistent. I noticed that the brands don't change between days so long as there aren't any battles, and that they only change after a 4-chain if you use unbranded pins and have no clothes on. You can watch me messing around with it here () but feel free to go and mess around with it and see if its replicatable or if I just got insanely lucky. I was able to replicate it a decent amount of times so I do think its consistent and could shake the route up for DS and FR at least a little.
