i did a quick comparison between japanese and english text (since alot of games are speedrun in japanese due to how fast they are) in the game and the japanese text seems to end faster than the english text (which proves a point).

So you can probably shave off some time in the long run if you switched to japanese (atleast it wont hurt to do so)
