Basque Countryjust for the report, the closest thing someone has come with is "All Captain Toad Moons", requiring only to get the moons, which was accepted on the pendings section but removed from there "on 9/25/2020 by due to not meeting the requirement of 6 runs" (i thought it was always 3 but alr lol) (source here check it out for more info on previously existing categories)
@George_in_Gorge honestly not certain on how open they are about it, but there definitely will have to be at least some real interest presented with some runs actualy completed (like the 3+ of the pendings requirements) for any chance, they are not gonna just keep accepting and rejecting the same categories continuosly whenever someone comes up with it
if it was actualy voted for removal by the comunity, is not a very good sign

I recall very well this category existing in the category extensions at one point
can't find it now tho; so either it didn't get past the pending section for not getting enough interest, got removed for whatever other reason (or im just blind because of the new src layout to search for categories lol)

take the speedrun into a video editor and cut out every load part, idk what more efficient methods would be

yea this post is 6 years old and it has alredy been a thing lol, there was a record guiness related event regarding I think 3 different games, and they made that for mario odyssey
idk about its possible existence instead the common leaderboards tho
is also not a very good comparision to apply on RTA speedrun given the absurd amount of time top trickjumpers can spend doing level 10 trickjumps
i think snow dram is like a 3.5/10 or smth lol
by pure definition, if you are a beginner runner, is spected to be lower on the leaderboard over the better players, which also wouldn't necesary change with that new leaderboard
not sure how some would feel about segregating "the same category for different skills", when you can just go to the main leaderboard and not realy have to care about glitches until you get the level for it
there is in general not a lot of competitive interest for the category, it has been talked before, but the general take is taht it just wouldn't be as different and would just influence top level runs, and is hard to set a line on what or what not is supposed to get banned for glitchless

well it shouldn't matter changing place betwen snow and seaside for optimal routing, but is faster if you pick wooded before lake, in order to start in metro (hard to reach koopa) and end in lake (koopa right beside the odyssey)
you can look at a top run on the category leaderboard, probably all of the top runners use the optimal route (if there is one a lot faster than the other in the first place)
just in case, i guess the second controller work alone as p1 when you connect it on port 1 right
as reflected in the rules, the speed at which the game runs is purely dependent on the refresh rate of your monitor (frequency Hz), which is basicaly the times the game updates to the next frame every second, and it states how the "normal speed" is having an screen with 60Hz, the most common refresh rate for regular non-gaming quality screen (you will hardly get a pc with less than 60Hz nowadays); you need to have a better screen that can pull more than 60 Hz, and you can change it on advanced configurations

so, the level 3 case seems to just bea lag problem, due to device performance, nothing sure tho; that's unfortunately not very direct to fix; is specialy common in level 3 because of the wind particles
you can try optimizing your computer by closing other windows and apps while not using them, lowering down the recording settings or perhaps finding a recorder that lags less, maybe try using a more optimal browser for you or change the window size (generaly smaller window means easier to run), maybe something in the configuration of the browser, etc. It's up to you there
