First up let's talk about how you can complete the game faster. 1st is to click faster I personally use jitter clicking but use Butterfly clicking when my fingers get tired but you can use what you find best. 2nd is you can join the Henry stickmin Speedrunning discord server they can help you get started and troubleshoot some of your problems. 3rd is to watch some top runners to see what they do as of 6/23/2022 these are the links to the top 4 times:
Next up before you start your run you must clear your save data you can do this by clicking the face in the bottom right > Clear Data > Confirm (Note: If you don't clear your save data your speedrun will be rejected). after clearing your save data you are ready to begin your run of The Henry Stickmin collection.
You start your timer when you click the "Play" option in the menu of breaking the bank. After waiting for the cutscene to the end you will click the "Disguise" option as fast as possible. After the screen fades to black at the end you can do one of two things.
- you can do Menu > Skip intro on Breaking the Bank > Menu again > go to Escaping the Prison > skip intro. this skip will skip the beginning cutscene for Escaping the prison.
- or you can perform a trick called "Lagless" it's a harder trick that saves around 0.5 - 1.0 seconds. to do this you do Menu > Skip the Breaking the Bank intro > hover over an option > Menu > go to Escaping the Prison > skip the Escaping the prison intro
For Escaping the prison the most optimal ending to get is "Sneaky Escapist" to get this ending you will choose these options File > Door > Spam click the left side of the screen > Spam click the right side of the screen > Chair > Green Right arrow > Plungers.
again at the end, you can skip the intro by doing Menu > Skip Escaping the Prison intro > Menu > Going to Stealing the diamond or you can do lagless by doing Menu > Skip Escaping the Prison Intro > hover over an option > menu > going to Stealing the Diamond.
For Stealing the Diamond the most optimal ending to get is "Unseen Burglar" to do this you do Sneak in > Teleporter > Penny > Wire > Hammer > Plank > Diamond. again you can either do Menu > Skip Stealing the Diamond Intro > Menu > go to Infiltrating the Airship > skip intro. Or you can do Menu > Skip Stealing the Diamond Intro > Hover over an option > Menu > Go to Infiltrating the Airship > Skip intro.
For Infiltrating the Airship the most optimal ending to get is "Rapidly Promoted Executive" to get this you will do Cannon Ball > Chair > Eject > Beans > Rocket jump > Yo-Yo > Goods > Glider > Dummies. again you can do either Menu > Skip The Infiltrating the Airship intro > Menu > go to Fleeing the Complex > Skip intro or Menu > Skip The Infiltrating the Airship intro > Hover over an option > Menu > go to Fleeing the Complex > Skip intro
For Fleeing the complex the most optimal ending to get is "Ghost inmate" To get this you will do Boost up > Click the Left arrow > Whoopee Cushion > Power Jump > Balloon > Helium > Leaf > Dinghy. To get to Completing the Mission we have to do things a little differently by doing > Menu > Clicking "Play" on Fleeing the Complex > going to Completing the mission.
For Completing the Mission as soon as you start Click on the two endings we got for the last two episodes which were "Rapidly Promoted executive" and "Ghost Inmate" Then you will do > Skip intro on the top right > Helicopter Hat > Dave > And then finally the last option Deuces!
With that, you have completed the game and your timer can stop when you see the achievement called "TCW" appear on the screen
Final note: You do NOT stop your timer when the Mission Complete? text appears on screen.
