Before I begin showing you how to speedrun Center Perks, I will show the basics of what you need to know while speedrunning The Escapists.

• First, know the fastest route to escape the prison, you can do this by watching speedrunners that have run the prison that you are trying to run.
• Second, if somebody has/has not run the prison you need to make new routes and find out what is the fastest route to run.
• Next, reduce menu times which are menu that stop in-game time which makes night come slower than usual. Checking your/other peoples profile, Checking quests, Crafting, Letters, and Looking in desks all increase menu times. To reduce time find a route that uses less Menus as possible and try to spend less time in menus.
• Finally, find efficient items that will make your escape attempt easier and faster.

This is my route to speedrun the Center Perks. First, click start game and quickly close out the letter, then go to the canteen and get 5 forks, it there is not 5 forks restart the run. When you have 5 forks go to the computer lab and start digging out the wall, when the lockdown starts let a guard knock you out to lose some of your fatigue, continue digging out the wall (guards may check the room, be careful!) go into the hallway get the prisoner stash in the hallway and the one up the ladder. (there might be two, one, or zero prison stashes) If you don't get any stashes or no cutters restart the run. If you got the cutters proceed out the hallway, place down the wall, dig the wall until it reaches 2%. If you have two forks drop one fork. Then go get 1-2 intelligence, then go get 2 bed sheet, make a sheet rope then wait(don't do your job). During evening dinner, go to the lab, dig out the wall, place the wall behind you, and drop your fork. Go up the ladder and wait until the end of evening rollcall. Once the prison is in lockdown, go up the ladder to the rooftop, use your sheet rope to get off of the roof, run to the fence, and use the cutters to cut it. Then you will escape Center Perks!
