Before starting the Robot Monkey fight the player is better off learning to keep the distance in order to be able to hit all bananas right back to the boss when jumping towards the monkey. It is important to note that in order to accomplish the 3 cycle bananas need to be hit with the tip of the sword as well as maintaining jumps to approach the boss with the maximum air time otherwise the bananas might just pass through the player without hit detection or being thrown below and above the players reach. Practice to approach the monkey from afar and once the second banana of each jump has been deflected successfully run away until the next banana to be thrown and repeat the previous step.
