for the run to be valid, is it possible to use a mod to change the character that does not change the game's physics ? (I would like to play with sonic boom character rather than sonic modern)

Hi there, it's not allowed to have mods active even if they're purely visual sorry. This is both out of precaution in case the mods unintentionally change something and out of bad experiences with allowing mods on other Sonic games in the past (it can get kind of a mess with neverending discussion about what mods should and shouldn't be allowed). Easiest way to ensure these is to just keep the game clean.
