SO...! I have a little score to settle with this stage. This was the stage I was grinding before my 0:45 on SY3, and when that session fell through, afterwards. This is when my computer decided to stop holding a charge, so now that I have access to a shiny new laptop, it was time to finish this stage once and for all.

I was grinding out the base strat of 0:05 (Like in Tee-N-Tee's PR) and it was just not working. I had missed the red spring 12 times in my sesh and by the end of it, when I had finally gotten the run I wanted, it was a frame off of 0:05. Back to the drawing board, and it turns out that the air speed cap strat that the TAS uses for old strat 0:09 is actually pretty easy to execute, and taking suboptimal starts to the slope was nailing more clips than I was ever getting. Couple of hours later, and hey presto, 0:05. Just one more PR until I hit 7:59, and I think I know just the stage: Stay tuned, no way am I ending this year without sub-8! ?
