I know thers probably TONS of people who want to become a minecraft mod but i have played minecraft for 8 years, i know that game like the palm of my hand. I think id be pretty good at it.

Talk with the current Minecraft moderators about this, the general forums are not the right place.

I'd also keep in mind that knowing a game and knowing a speedgame are two different things. You don't have any runs listed on the site, so it may be tougher to sell your case.

Since you're so new to the site (your account is less than 24 hours old as of writing this) you really shouldn't be worrying about being added as a moderator to anything, nevermind a game as popular and stacked as Minecraft (frankly, I wouldn't even bother asking them about this).

Every game/community has their own criteria for adding new moderators, but generally speaking, games are only looking to add people who are highly active, speedrun the game a lot, and are well-known within that game's community.
