There are two categories, new and old. What exactly do these mean, and could it possibly be clarified in the rules? additionally, could I have clarification on what it means to 'show the setting'?

I think it's the versions od the game, so the old one can't be filled with runs bcs it changed

Recent being current patch, and older meaning older patches. Show the settings means show the settings before entering the game (where you pick the difficulty, level, etc.)

Ah, I should have specified. The PC version hasn't been updated past 2.2, would this count as old or new?

Yeah it was free for a limited time on nintendo eshop normally it cost 2,49 euros on my region.

Switch/console would be great to have it's own category for runs i had tried it out and it was fun in sandbox mode :3
