I've been trying my hand at speed running the "banned" category, but I have a bit of an issue. The link in rules doesn't work anymore, and any other pages for creating an account make you download the game to play on my computer. The rules also say that you can't use the app version, so I'm not quite sure where to go from here lol.
Are you trying to get AJ Wild or AJ Classic because for AJ Classic you shouldn't need to download it as well as this page is for AJ Classic, not AJ Wild.
I'm using AJ classic, the link is https://classic.animaljam.com/en/welcome/kjzsrn. Its the only one I've been able to find that works, and it worked on a friends computer but not mine. After I make a username and password it directs me to a screen that says "Flash is going away, but AJ Classic is here to stay! Download the app for your PC or Mac" and doesn't give you any option to progress without downloading.
I got the same thing, looks like Animal Jam Classic needs to be downloaded now I guess. I doubt there's a way to get past this wall so it looks like you're going to have to download it if you can.
Will the rules be updated to accommodate/ a separate category be made for the downloaded version or is the category now considered defunct?
I'll have to test a little bit with the downloaded version as I have not played it much but it will most likely be split into seperate categories, with a rule change for the new category. (I'll test it out later tonight and come back with an answer when I finish)
Finally did some testing sorry for being lazy, from testing nothing seemed too different in the downloaded version compared to the web version however I will still be making sub-categories for the browser and app versions due to how any other way for timing the browser version doesn't make as much sense as what's already in the rules. (This does mean the browser sub-category will most likely be dead from now on) I will also be doing the same for the Disabled category.
