- i've been wondering why you didn't separated the characters considering they're pretty different in their stats.
If you don't want to and it's perfectly understandable i may suggest you to add a variable with their names so we can state which character was played when we submit the run.

The second question is purely cosmetic, i always like to decorate pages and i'd be down to create some background/logo/icons for the page if you're willing to change it. It would make the page more attractive :)

Concerning the regions that aren't added i was wondering if the Japanese version got differences.

There's also a DLC pack that used to be released on their SEGA website, i was wondering if those are allowed in a run. There's a costume pack, Cindy as a playable clone of jean and a stun gun.

I agree the styles of each character are different but ultimately the combos are the same. i also feel this will create way to many categories. Missions 4-6 would be the next thing added verses separating the characters. You can certainly include the character name in the title of your video when you submit a run.
Yes for sure that would be nice to have some new decoration. i would be willing to change it, would just have to learn how.
No, the Japanese version does not have differences for the missions so either version can be used for run submission.
yes all 3 character alternate skins are fine to use. Stun gun is also fine, but i don't think it would save any time.

Jean is totally different she's slower by default cause she got less combo hits but more Grab combo chain, she can go up to +13 combo on the floor but grab are extremely long to pull off and seem to do less damage.
However it's fine, i'd just suggest you to add them as variable then, it doesn't create any other category, just show who's been played, example here with the sailor scout : https://www.speedrun.com/bssmr

Yes some of the grab combos take a long time, especially with Jean. i think it would be best to avoid performing the long grab combos when going for speed runs.
Damage wise: i guess we would need someone to dissect the code to determine damage outputs for a combo?

You can add the characters by editing the videos on existing videos =)
Thank you for the update i'm doing some derusting right now, only in the 15mins range runs so far. I will post here the pictures and logos for the look of the board when i finish them

Sounds good. Page will be looking great when you are finished your design I am sure. I should almost start putting together a step by step speed run tutorial than can be expanded on as new tricks are discovered. Need to all work together to determine the optimal mission 1 route first. I’ll try to check back on here for messages more often.
