Full-game vs Level

I've noticed that some of the times for individual levels are better on the #1 full-game run. This doesn't make much sense to me, so I'll try to improve level times where possible, so that they're the best ones overall.

When an optimal time already exists, I'll just add my own strategy's best run, even if it's not the absolute best. I don't plan on copying other people's strategies.

Finland

It's up to full-game runners if they want to submit IL times from their full-game run to IL board. Krzysiek has done this with his DOS runs.

Curious, they can do it but can't be bothered to do so.

If you want my point of view, it's mostly that I cannot really "clip" a single stage out of my video (by lack of video editing knowledge), and I don't feel like it'd be nice to just put the link to the full game run.

Finland

It's fine to post the complete run as video link, no reason to do extra editing work. It doesn't affect verification. Just add start and end time of the level in descriptions for easy reference.

My thoughts exactly.

In general, it would make for a more lively competition if level times were extracted from full game and inserted individually. It would also make it easier for me to know which ones are the actual records to beat ;-)

OK, only one mission left for the Atreides campaign, but I'm going to do Ordos 9 first, as it uses the same map from Atreides 8.

After completing the Atreides campaign, which should put total time around 1 hour 20 minutes, I'll try a full run, see how much difference there is. I'll be happy if I can clock it close to an hour and a half.
