Question about terminology

In Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters, at 40:53 Dana Wilcox realizes that for her whole life, she was a "one-button" player. She didn't realize that by pressing the other button the pieces could rotate in the other direction. For a while, I played Dr. Mario like this as well until waking up from my pill-induced stupor. Is there a term for this? Or is "one-button player" a known term? Sounds kinda boring. Like, in snowboarding they have "goofy" stance, in skateboarding riding "mongo." How about "playing donk", as in donkey (foolish) to describe a one-button player? I kinda like that! |
