Driving games are slowly starting to get runners attention, so I thought it might be a good idea to spice up the competition with some dank leaderboards for Cross Town Checkpoint, Trail Blazer and Dirt Track levels.
Never heard of anyone doing speedruns of driving games in Driver :) But it might be a good competition, so I'll set up the leaderboards later.
OK, levels added, although you can't set time ascending for a single level. It can only be done for a category, which means the whole table would have to reorganized. Or we could wait till admins add multiple IL tables feature.
Not sure how to handle this.
Also, if anyone can check if the driving games are the same on PS version, I'd really appreciate it.
Pursuit and Getaway are RNG-heavy, they don't even have in-game leaderboards. I'd also remove Survival for now since it may be confusing for some people. Carnage is apparently PC exclusive as I can't find it in PS version and other than that everything's alright. And yeah, thanks, (I hope) we'll try to populate it soonish
Oh and is it possible to add milliseconds column and remove requirement for video proof? Image proof should be enough, those are ILs after all and I think we'll be using only in-game time.
Miliseconds added. Survival removed for now as well as Carnage since this mode has locked timer to one minute and you're supposed to do as much damage within that time, so it can't be speedran.
I'm personally strongly against no video proof for 2 reasons:
- Possible cheating (you can edit mission scripts on PC).
- People who would like to beat the record will have no idea how it was done.
I think that the replay should be enough for verification purposes, just make sure it doesn't get deleted, or record a video of it.
