Has anyone tried speedrunning collecting every collection item in the game?

Looking at a guide of the game, it seems that if this was a category people ran it would include a Goku playthrough, a Krillin playthrough, collecting all of the new capsules in Extra Mode AND a run through of Survival Mode as Piccolo. (You HAVE to complete Survival as Piccolo to unlock the mechagoggles.)

Once you clear the collection, the file on the title screen will have a crown next it to signify completion.

I think this would be an interesting (albeit rather long) category to run. I'd say runners should go for the mechagoggles last so there's a clear finishing point, but that's just my opinion.

ive done that a while ago, i had a run for fun which took around 3 hours(before i got better), you also need to collect all portraits for the true 100%

I think going for all the portraits would indeed be true 100%, however, I don't think the game gives you anything for collecting all the portraits (while getting all the collection items marks the file as complete with a crown). That's also why I didn't call this category 100%, as there are a few other unknowns. Going for all the portraits also involves random drops from 2 of the minigames, so I think true 100% would be good as a different category.

I ran my definition of Collection% last night and took around 3:15:20, but I did make several mistakes. I think it's entirely possible to finish way, way earlier though.

I just now found out that completing boss rush unlocks sound test. I think that should be required if anyone is trying to run true 100%

boss rush and survival are both required iirc.

there is also a really hard jump in pilaf castle if you want to get an item early which save a good chunk of seconds but its like 4-5 pixels
