Any chance we could get a leaderboard for beating bots with heroes, i would most likely try beating bots on every difficulty with every hero if this leaderboard was added :)

i just made a video beating passive bots with sniper in 14m 57s, would be nice if i could submit it to a leaderboard :) it would probably push me to make the time quicker and quicker too and also make times for all heroes and then id do the same for multiple difficulties

Every hero and every difficulty seems uh... not something easy to implement. Especially the first part.

vs. Bots speedrun could b good, but i've no clue if anything that's not passive / medium or insane would actually matter, since the only difference is the gold/exp that bots gain, and given the game's dead and i gave up on trying to revive it a long time ago, let's start with these three difficulties.

i was just mainly hoping for each hero to get a leaderboard for quickest time to win, i get that huskar would dominate easily but each hero should get there own time imo and yeah dota has some what died out and reviving it would be difficult but im sure its doable

its not doable, and i refuse to change my mind about this matter. if you have enough time to observe the leaderboards, talk with some good peeps, watch the trends, keep your skill on a decent level, you'll notice a lot of sad things around the speedrunning in general, especially dota one. i might try to bring dota to summer esa 2019, but i doubt i'll have any success. if you want the bots leaderboard based on difficulty that holds all heroes, okay, i'll give you a shot. https://www.speedrun.com/Dota_2/individual_levels

hey there, I have a request for the IL leaderboard: can a mod please clarify what "real time" is supposed to be? every run on the leaderboard handles thiat differently. the worst I have seen is that ingame time = real time which is not true but still got approved as that. I would assume that the real time is the ingame time + 1m 15s for version 7.20, right? If that is the case I would like to ask a mod to change the few runs that are on the leaderboard accordingly and make it clear in the rules as there is nothing about the timing in the rules right now. I probably wasn't paying attention to that run / someone else accepted it. Gonna fix that now.

Real Time = i think there's no need to explain it. IGT = real time + time before the horn, usually 1m. 30s for normal runs. Different run categories (ie. Turbo) have 1 min. b4 the horn. Bots have 1:15-ish (saw 1:13, 1:14 also)

In general, i won't really tell that IL's are 100% correct in terms of timings, so i don't really mind if minor (up to 2s.) differences will appear in empty boards. Should some records question their place (given the competition will be real, instead of taking free rekkies), i'll do a bit more extensive research upon the runs.

I think you mixed up IGT and real time in your explaination :-). And yes for bot matches the time before horn seems t be 1:15. Thanks again!

the thing with versus bots tho is, nothing happens before the horn anyways, so the times should just be as in game time because anything thats doable towards a win happens after the horn

also, will you be able to add in mars at some point? going to be running him versus bots some time shortly (before he gets nerfed XD)
