Hello everyone new to the forum been a doomer for a while now though. recently I have gotten into speedrunning doom1 and two., and have come up with some questions. Hoping you guys can orientate me.
Q1. Sr50: For a decade or more I have always done this strafe by pressing right mouse click, forward, a strafe left key and than swooping the mouse in the direction I am strafing in. However recently watching demos which have the keys present, I am noticing a trend towards the second option which is, holding forward,strafeon,strafe left or right and instead of swooping the mouse, they hold down the turn key,with this, my question is? Does my method actually achieve the sr50 or have I been doing it wrong all along?
Q2. I am using cndoom as my port of preference, sometimes I want to see the ending dialogue when finishing an episode is there a way to enable this
Q3(last one) Sometimes I use prboom+, does the clip where you have to hit the switch afterwards able to be done on this port or was it fixed? I ask because on cndoom, I am able to clip in pretty quickly, but no luck on prboom+

Q1: your method achieves SR50, but it's not recommended as it's harder.
