VC has faster loading times than SNES but I'm not aware of any differences between switch vs wii VC.

Same thing has been happening with donkey kong country 1/2/3 boards and when I click on the run it shows properly at 7th place or w/e.
Doesn't happen with every run so I'm not sure what's causing this. (first case was 3 days ago)

The closest thing would be the level maps on http://www.dkc-atlas.com/maps/ that show the level layouts with bananas.

There's no feasible way to track if you've collected every banana though and would be a nightmare to moderate so it'd never be a speedrun category.

There are no banned "minor" glitches that's why the category is called "no major glitches" and has the major glitches listed in the rules, anything not listed is fair game.

From what you've listed you could either submit it under all stages or no major glitches, whatever you fancy.

If it's still confusing you can always watch the world record run.

They're warps after all so following the snes trilogy example here, this is added on 17-4-2022 so runs that already used a bonus will be grandfathered in and not be affected. (elevator antics bonus is slower anyway so why even take it )

Sounds like you could just require the runner to show the settings menu after they PB ? Weird to ban an emulator other games accept just because of that.

Why would retroarch not be allowed? As long as you're not using any of the bs features like run-ahead there's no difference between using the 9x core or snex9x itself.

If you're using snes9x core it's the same as if you'd be using snes9x itself or bizhawk with 9x core so it's fine.
Bsnes core has less input lag if you can run it though so heavily recommend that!

huh... I think I'll delete that run but in the future if you have an actual run you can click the 3 dots on the right of your submitted run and click edit run.

ps. runs are timed real time so unless you were sitting in front of your tv for 69 hours it'll be deleted.
