legacy run jumps

i don't get nearly high enough fps in dishonored to do an any% run but quite enjoy doing the glitch less legacy runs, however having watched a number of the record breaking legacy runs there are a number of jumps performed that even if i watch the video in slow motion i cant figure out how the players are jumping some of the distances they are covering. an example of this is on fripic's current world record legacy run, in the prison he runs to the second pillar and uses two ledges to get on top of an alarm from which he manages to somehow jump all the was over to the walkway platform a jump which when i attempt it i smack the ledge with my face and do not have sufficient height to climb it. any help/advice would be appreciated (as long as that advice isn't "stop playing dishonored you noob)

A tip could be to clear out the room of guards first as they can be quite annoying so you can practice it in peace. Mainly it's all about the jump timing along with you sprinting. Too early and you won't get enough speed to cover the distance of the jump and too late obviously you just fall off, takes some practice to get it consistently and is somewhat precise. Also if you haven't pulled away the sword, do that as well as it slows you down a bit, not a huge difference but no need to make it harder than it is.

Example vid of just playing around with the jump:

Good Luck with the learning of the run :)
