Run submissions help

I have a quick question regarding submissions.

A few days I submitted a run I was fairly sure I wouldn't be able to improve much on, so I submitted it and it was accepted to the leaderboards.

However today I found myself performing incredibly well and doing a run which was better than my previous one, and as long as I timed everything correctly I believe it would put me into 3rd place for the category.

However because I only recently submitted a run, I'm not too sure on whether I can submit a run again so soon. Is there any kind of time limit between submitting runs or other procedures to follow? (This is the first game I'm speedrunning so I'm quite unsure.)

Also, I died at one point, and I don't know if that would invalidate the run or if it would still be okay for submission?

I know it wastes peoples time if I submit often which I want to avoid, but I didn't think I'd get a much better time worth submitting any time soon, so I apologise for that.

Also, I guess it makes it irrelevant but the time I have submitted onto the leaderboard currently, I made a mistake and entered the real time and ingame time reversed but I don't know how to fix that (but I guess if I am allowed to submit this new run, it's not a huge problem.)

Don't worry about it. There are no restrictions on how soon you can submit multiple runs. And there's no issue with you dying during a run.

I usually check to make sure the real time and in game times aren't reversed. I must have missed it for your recent run. It has been fixed, but if it happens in the future you can edit your own run and resubmit it. The edited run will have to be re-verified, but it is a way to fix issues like this.

That's great to hear, thank you glasnonck! I think I'll do another run or two tomorrow and see how I go, but if I don't do any better I'll submit the run I did today to see if my new record is accepted to the leaderboards.

Thank you for your time and advice, it is much appreciated :)

Apologies for double posting but I had another question I forgot to ask: The new game any% category is definitely timed via real time, not in game time like the speedrun mode category is, correct?

Luckily there hasn't been an issue with this yet, so I don't believe it has been stated explicitly before now.

New game any% is timed via in game time, but real time is used for breaking ties.

Oh, well, that's interesting. I think I might be second place for Any% if my new run is accepted, my in game time is 1:17 but real time it's 1:24:53. I suppose all the extra real time is due to playing on a PS4 rather than PC. Not that I'd complain wherever I am but being in the top three is awesome if my run gets accepted when I submit it (probably tomorrow).
