When ever you enter a single player game, it defaults to Players 1, correct?

With that, many people will log exit and enter for Countess/towning quickly. People who run on the Players 8 mode must always have it enabled and always enter it before going into combat or else it turns that P8 into a PX run.

it's a feature(?) of the game that once you type any players setting, it will keep the players setting until the game is closed. Save/quitting and making a new character will even be on the last /players setting set. As long as the game client is never closed, you dont have to keep typing /players 8 every time you save/quit.

You should however type it at the start of a run to show that it is indeed a /players 8 run
