Hey, I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I've picked up D2LoD a few days ago and been running a few Any% RTA runs with the Sorceress, but I never could finish a run, because I got stuck on the Chaos sanctuary; I seem to lack damage AND survivability despite having Ral runes, decent resists, good FCR... I just can't seem to get it right, I try to group up some enemies, Frost Nova them, Static Field a bit and then Nova them to death. It just... doesn't work for me? I just die over and over again and run out of potions and money.

Is there any general advice, that I could follow and try to git gud?

I guess the biggest point is getting a mercenary from a2. Just give him a Pike and try to keep him alive on Vizier and De Seis. He helps a lot to tank a lot of shots - that way you can deal the damage you need to. Also he provides a lot of dmg against Vizier, since he is really lightning resistant.

Apart from that it really comes down to positioning. Trying not to get hit by too many mage / ghost projectiles really helps..

Thanks a lot for your reply, I'll see what I can do! Should I use teleport for dodging or will that eat up too much Mana?

you defenetly should the greater mana potions are good enough to keep up unless you get hit a million times from the ghost mobs
