First off id like to thank @MeridianPrime for making me a Mod for Cyber Tiger.
I have set up a stroke play Category. It is separated into the 3 different courses. This will also need to be discussed in Tournament%. I have not tested to see if the Best of TPC course could be faster for runs. This could be a another subcategory added along with Volcano if people would like to run them. If there is any interest for 1P vs Computer runs ie. Tiger Challenge, Skins game, Match Play they could be added as well.
Rules are straightforward. Beat the game finishing 72 or 18 holes. I feel its best to have mulligans off so it does not affect your run. Wind may be left on or off runners choice. If any glitches or trick are found they will be looked at and discussed within the community and rule changes will be made accordingly.
All Emulators will be accepted for now. If runs are submitted and there are any discrepancies this will be discussed within the community and rules will be changed if needed
Last off, Big Thanks to @MicheloniN64 for getting the WR and giving me the motivation to come back and run this game again.
Lets get some people running this game. Hopefully the addition of stroke play category can get some interest in the boards. The quicker runs will be more accessible to lots of runners.
Hey bro glad to be apart of the run community! I have played this game for years! I am not understanding how youre able to be so fast by being 2 hole times ahead of me bro! I am at 42:58 cant seem to get much faster than that but were gonna try try try!
Hey @MicheloniN64 42:58 is a great time for sure. After watching your run i can see lots of time to be saved. Keep doing runs and looking for those juicy timesaves!!!
Also do you think I am cheating in any way. I had a person msg me on twitch which called me out as being "fishy". And while i was watching your 42:58 you seemed to have the same feelings that something was up

I am playing on ps1 and there seems to be no options for 72-hole tournament. As soon as you finish 18holes. It takes you back to the main menu
I watched this video on YouTube. Half way through when he starts to play on PlayStation you see him choose single then tournament. See if this helps. It shows 4 rounds on the scorecard after holes.
I don’t see why we couldn’t start a category for PlayStation runs. See if you can figure out 72 holes and do some runs and we can go from there.

Awesome. Thank you so much. Yeah the scorecard shows 4 rounds. But everytime I get to the end of hole 18 even when you are in first place. It just takes you back to the main menu
I tried out the PS1 version to see how it plays and it's like a weirder Tiger Woods 99 PGA Tour. You can't abuse tap ins like you can in TW99. Tap ins do not skip the shot text like for example skipping the birdie text that pops up in the ps1 release. From long distance putting, it can save a bunch of time. There's also no putting line as far as I could see. As far as I'm concerned I may or may not bother with the PS1 version of this game. This might mess up my TW99 PS1 skills. I can't believe how bad the up spin is in this game. The ONLY improvement I've seen so far is the tap in distance being 2ft in this game unlike TW99 which is 1ft. Edit: I retract my spin statement after finding out I'm using Kid Tiger.
Wait a minute, Tiger Challenge is a thing? What the hell am I doing not grinding that mode? Hold on I'll start the first run. I shal add this to the other Tiger Woods games I need to do. It's on the list. I'll need to see how this game handles it.
I'm starting to notice that like with Tiger Woods 99 the tees where you start from matter as in distance you can drive off the tee in comparison matters. It looks like I'll have to do some investigating on which is the best to play off of. Although unlike in TW99 where you can get away with playing on red tees since it won't matter. I've also noticed that on Novice you won't always be on Red tees. Here I thought like with Tiger Woods 13 and 14 you'd do the same distance on all tees. Though on Red tees you obviously get the safest option of hitting the fairway. Red tees/Novice tees:215(You'll start from Red but a majority the holes are played from White Tees or some on Yellow tees) Amateur Tees/White Tees: 245 Hole 1 White Tees Hole 2 Blue Tees Hole 3: Blue Tees Hole 4: White Tees Hole 5: Blue Tees Hole 6: Blue Tees Hole 7: Blue tees Hole 8: Blue Tees Hole 9: blue tees Hole 10: Blue Tees Hole 11: Blue Tees Hole 12: blue tees Hole 13: blue tees Hole 14: blue tees Hole 15: blue tees Hole 16: blue tees Hole 17: blue tees Hole 18 blue tees Pro/Black Tees: 270
