This game uses a Trackball controller on the original arcade machine. On PC emulator, you move at full speed every time with a simple D-pad, so you lose precision in movement. That's why the emulation of the arcade game feels so wierd to control, unless you use a controler with an analog stick.

I don't know about the other versions of the game. I suppose the non-analog control physics are better on GBC/GBA/DS.
