In the past couple of days, i have been having pretty decent runs with an estimate result of about sub 2:25-26, but as i was playing out my attempt almost 2 minutes ahead of my PB about 1 hour and 34 minutes into the run, the game began to lag immensely and my frames dropped to what felt like 1 or 2 fps.

This happened in the "Unsafe Haven" mission, so i decided the run was dead (though i was pretty bummed out about it) and closed and opened the game again to make the game playable again. I went into the mission and everything went smoothly. I had no idea what caused it, and neither did i care (though steam was updating a game in the background, so i thought the issue was fixed for now. But no) and just hours later when i made a second attempt the game froze almost 20 minutes earlier than before in the "Semper Fi or Die" mission.

Since then i have attempted to run the game twice, and the game first froze on "Lab Rat" and now it freezes in the middle of the "Road rage" mission. I have no idea why this is happening now, and it has never been an issue for me before.

I thought that maybe my graphics-card was overheating but after some research i figured that was not the case and i sincerely doubt that my system is not powerful enough, but i am all out of options now, so i now turn to this forum to seek guidance and help. Pls help me .
