I would like to call out that the latest High Score for Crossy Road needs a second evaluation

Please examine the shape of the ‘9’ in the top left 2296. Compare it to a ‘9’ seen in game. They are not the same and so I suggest that the score isn’t genuine. I value the opinion of the community

And he came out of nowhere with wr without ever having done a crossy road run. I´m not saying he´s cheating , i´m just saying that´s weird.

I personally think it's dumb not to require video evidence on the high score leaderboard.

EDIT: actually, @RonnieWeston is right, the top right corner of the 9 should be rounded. Therefore, it is pretty safe to say this was Photoshopped.

I would like to say, however, that a screenshot like this would be incredibly easy to Photoshop, and it is suspicious that a score of 2296 doesn't appear on the GameCenter rankings:

Thanks for letting me know. I examined the photo and somehow didn't catch that. To be completely honest I personally am not extremely concerned about mandating video for this high score leaderboard as there have been scores acquired higher than those listed on the leaderboard, just that have not been submitted. At one time there were some everyplay videos of scores around 5000, 7000, etc.

Francesco my friend, I wouldn’t expect anyone to spot that apart from a Crossy Road freak like me. I’m part of the community here to help the cause (ok and to defend my score shhhh). I agree about your comment ; this is a speed run site (the best speed run site)

I’m happy for this whole category to be removed, but if you are happy to have us high scorers here then we will be more than happy to support your adjudication with keen eyes

If you feel the score is invalid either it should go, or if you prefer take the highest score section down that’s your prerogative.

I think there’s a problem with accepting photos as evidence. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen a fake high score screenshot posted to this leaderboard. I respect your decision as a mod of this game, but I think screenshots have proven very easy to fake, while videos are impossible to fake. In this day and age, video evidence is the standard.

If I start getting an influx of suspicious/ fake photos as proof, I'd be willing to move over to mandating video proof.
